When you are creating a website the two most popular languages that you can use are PHP and ASP. These languages are used to create a dynamic website where you can interact with database and exchange information. PHP or Hypertext Preprocessor was originally designed by Rasmus Lerdorf, it was later customized by many people. The language runs on Unix and Linux. There is also a NT sever version available. The PHP is much cheaper to implement than ASP for it runs on Linux, which is free. The mySQL that it uses is also available for free thus making PHP much cheaper than ASP.
