The X-ray digital image of the human body is produced by X-ray technicians. It is the duty of the X-ray technician to prepare and position patients, expose and develop X ray film. Today a trained X-ray technician from any leading xray technician school would perform duties which involves other diagnostic imaging techniques such as ultrasound, computer tomography, magnetic resonance, special angiography, nuclear medicine procedures etc. Today this job has gained much popularity as there is a great demand for X-ray technicians in the medical field. A trained X-ray technician find openings in hospitals and medical centers. Within a year one can be qualified for hands on experience in a medical facility. It is a rewarding career as one gets to interact with the doctors and patients to carry out minimally invasive medical procedure.
